Mechanical Integrity is an all inclusive approach

To support the efforts of Process Safety Managers, Team Industrial Services offers a full range of onsite inspection services, including comprehensive CAD services, NDE testing, API Inspectors, database acquisition, and engineered evaluation services. All services follow recognized and generally accepted good engineering practices. In addition to traditional testing and inspection services, here's a sampling of the technologies and capabilities Team uses to keep your process equipment safe, fully operational, and compliant with stringent industry standards:

Trained, Experienced Inspectors - Team's Visual Inspectors rigorously follow OSHA 29 CFR 1910.119 regulations for mechanical integrity outlining visual inspection requirements as well as national standards for:
 – Welding process and defects
 – Failure mechanisms related to components such as castings, forgings, extrusions, vessels, storage tanks, piping, pumps, and valves
 – Interpretation of piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs), flowcharts, piping symbols, and isometric piping diagrams.
Ultrasonic Inspectors - Utilize basic and advanced ultrasonic inspection techniques.
Magnetic Particle Inspection, Visible Dye Penetrant, and Radiographic Techniques Including Computer (Digital) Radiography - Utilized as needed during a Team Mechanical Integrity Evaluation.
Compliance Benchmarking - This process uses historical information from previous inspections and test data as well as a site review to identify potentially hazardous process components that are in the program, and whether or not they meet regulatory requirements. Visual Inspection of piping, vessels, heat exchangers, tanks and other applicable components also are conducted.

Team provides value-added inspection services for customers

API Inspections - API inspection and testing are performed in compliance with all API regulations by certified 510, 570, and 653 inspectors at prescribed intervals to evaluate the condition of all critical systems.

ACFM, digital radiography, guided-wave ultrasonic long-range inspection (GUL), teletest and other proven traditional and specialized NDE/NDT technologies can also be utilized.

Component Mapping and Planning - Piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDS) and field isometric sketches provide the visual targets for ongoing inspections. Based on these inspection points, Team can help you establish a testing protocol to ensure that subsequent tests are performed and recorded precisely and consistently.

Data Recording and Filing - Test reports containing CAD drawings, as well as details of test procedures and inspection points, are submitted to document compliance with OSHA regulations. For long-term compliance, repeatability, and data authentication, Team stores test information in accepted data-management programs.

Evaluation and Recommendations - With specific operational parameters in mind, Team's experienced inspectors evaluate and correlate data before making recommendations for subsequent inspections. Interpretation of data also supports possible "repair or replace" decisions in both predictive maintenance and shut-down planning.

Team inspectors are highly trained and multi-certified

As an ISO-certified quality organization, Team hires only educationally qualified personnel, then trains, tests, and certifies them as inspectors to meet SNT-TC-1A, CP-189, ACCP, and other industry standards.

API Inspectors are certified by the American Petroleum Institute through ICP, and are accepted internationally.

Team's inspector training programs are taught by certified instructors with years of real-world knowledge, processed-based training experience, and SNT-TC-1A Inspector Certification.

Additionally, the company's training programs combine fundamental theory with practical, hands-on instruction.

Multi-certified Team inspectors include some of the best and most experienced in the business.

Customers continuously rely on the intelligence, integrity, and problem-solving skills of Team inspectors; knowing in addition to being highly trained, they can call upon 50(+) years of inspection experience every time they enter your facility.

Inspection Service You Can Rely On

Team can put inspectors in your facility that hold certifications through the AWS, API, NEMA, DOT, NACE, ASNT, and Team's Corporate Training Group. These inspectors can provide:
 – new construction inspections
 – mechanical integrity inspections
 – vendor surveillance
 – NDE evaluation/application
 – welding engineering
 – equipment evaluation/code and standards compliance
  – inspection and testing procedures development
  – auditing and quality programs development and management

Team's inspection activities are guided by the company's Quality Manuals and ITP plans that are developed and managed by Team's Corporate Quality Program Management.
